Baku/28.04.23/Turan: On Fridaym, the  Disciplinary Commission of the Milli Majlis reprimanded Deputy Vahid Ahmedov for his statements last week in an interview with the Internet channel “Sanjag”.

The MP called the majority of deputies as “unelected” and criticized their work. He said that the deputies’ work is not very meaningful, and the social policies of the authorities are ineffective. In rural areas there is a high rate of unemployment and low income.

At the Milli Majlis plenary meeting on April 25, the deputy’s remarks sparked a discussion. He was accused of lying and insincerity, as well as anti-state activity.

Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova was instructed to examine the case of a delegate of the Disciplinary Commission.

Vahid Ahmadov, on the other hand, has rejected the allegations, stating that he defends state interests and those of its citizens. Vahid Ahmedov’s interview sparked a positive reaction in the society. Ahmedov received a lot of support from public figures and citizens. —16D—
